The research develops methodologies and tools for the secure, adaptive and QoS-aware
orchestration of microservice- and Digital Twin-based applications across the cloud-edge continuum. Through Digital Twins enhanced with AI/ML for threat detection and proactive defence, and predictive workload placement and migration strategies, it enables a proactive, self-healing application lifecycle, validated in smart mobility
scenarios.
