/p pbJob Opportunity: Senior Exterior Detail Designer – Lighting, Wheels Functional Components /b /p pbLocations: /b Turin, Italy Chongqing, China /p pbType: /b Full-Time onsite /p pbWe're looking for a Senior Exterior Detail Designer with a sharp eye for form, function, and innovation; someone who brings deep expertise in automotive lighting systems (headlamps, taillamps), wheels, and other functional exterior components.
/b /p h3What You'll Do /h3 ul liShape the Details: Design and refine key exterior elements like lighting clusters, wheels, and trim, using sketching, rendering, and 3D tools.
/li liSpot Trends Early: Research design trends, materials, and lighting technologies (LED, OLED, finishes) to inspire future?ready solutions.
/li liCollaborate Globally: Align with international design studios and our HQ in China to maintain consistency and innovation across programs.
/li liCommunicate with Impact: Present ideas clearly and visually to stakeholders.
/li liStay on Track: Support project timelines while balancing creativity, quality, and feasibility.
/li /ul h3What You Bring /h3 ul liStrong aesthetic sensitivity and 3D design skills.
/li liSolid experience in automotive lighting and exterior components.




/li liAbility to translate design vision into technically viable solutions.
/li liStrong hand and digital sketching abilities.
/li liProficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Alias, Blender, VRED, or similar.
/li liUnderstanding of exterior lighting technology, materials (plastic, metal), and finish treatments.
/li liPassion for innovation and precision in design.
/li liAbility to collaborate in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
/li liExcellent time management and ability to adapt in fast?paced environments.
/li liFluent English (spoken and written) is required.
/li liKnowledge of Italian or Chinese is considered a plus.
/li /ul pEducation: Bachelor's degree or higher in Transportation Design, Automotive Design, or Industrial Design.
/p pExperience: Minimum 4 years of experience in automotive industry.
