AstraZeneca seeks a Medical Evidence Advisor to lead real-world evidence strategy for oncology brands in Italy. The role bridges medical, market access, and commercial functions to design evidence programs, secure patient access, and translate data into value propositions across the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Lead real-world evidence strategy identification and prioritization for oncology brands to secure and expand patient access
Design and manage RWE programs across product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with brand and global evidence priorities
Oversee externally sponsored and observational studies portfolio, managing feasibility, governance, and delivery
Develop study concepts, protocols, and scientific documentation; lead dissemination through publications and presentations
Partner with market access and commercial teams to address pricing, reimbursement,



and access questions through robust research
Requirements
Scientific degree in relevant therapeutic area or scientific discipline
Hands-on experience in clinical research and evidence-generation study design and delivery
Knowledge of clinical research legislation, ethics, data protection, and transparency standards
Demonstrated project leadership and cross-functional project management capabilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Understanding of Italian healthcare system and evidence needs of healthcare professionals and payers
