Overview
As Jelly Candy Specialist, you drive NPD projects, technology platforms and technical support to elevate quality and efficiency in production. You work across stages from lab to post-launch, collaborating with Process Technologists, Group Engineering and PEC to scale new or upgraded lines. You analyze ingredients and process interactions to sustain product quality, supervise lab and pilot trials, and support start-ups and transfers across sites. You shape the design of manufacturing solutions to keep Perfetti Van Melle's portfolio future-ready and aligned with long-term strategy. You will contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Responsabilità
Participate in new product and process development from lab to launch
Contribute to designing manufacturing lines or upgrades with cross-functional teams
Understand ingredient interactions to ensure stable quality and efficient production
Supervise lab and pilot trials
Participate in Pre-NPD meetings with marketing and share product/process information
Conduct competitor research to inform new projects
Identify ideas to reduce waste and improve quality and efficiency, monitor implementation
Support start-up of new lines or production transfers
Define technological solutions to sustain breakthrough innovation pipelines
Requisiti fondamentali
Degree in Food Technology, Chemical Technology or other scientific education
At least 4 years of FMCG experience in a technologist role
Knowledge of raw materials and their functions
Lean manufacturing knowledge (green belt) - preferred
Mentoring junior technologists
Strong project management and time planning skills
Good communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and track progress using PvM software
Ability to analyze process and quality data with statistical software
Willingness to travel abroad up to 40% of time
