Occasional travel may be required. /p pCarl Zeiss Vision Italia's Operations team supports demand and supply planning, inventory management and logistics activities, working closely with internal departments, ZEISS Group functions and external logistics partners. /p pThis role offers an excellent development opportunity for someone looking to progress into broader Supply Chain Management, starting with a focus on logistics and team leadership before gradually expanding their responsibilities across procurement, supply planning and international collaboration. /p h3Your Role /h3 pThe Supply Chain Manager coordinates the main local logistics activities, including demand and supply planning for finished products, inventory management and inbound and outbound transportation. The role supports product availability, service continuity, balanced inventory levels and cost control, while coordinating the local Supply Chain team and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.



/p h3The Role Of Supply Chain Manager Will Involve /h3 ul liDeveloping and regularly updating demand and supply plans based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, lead times and business needs. /li liManaging inventory policies, safety stock levels and replenishment parameters to support product availability and inventory accuracy. /li liPlanning, coordinating and monitoring inbound and outbound transportation activities, including carrier performance, delivery times and transportation costs. /li liMonitoring supply chain KPIs and supporting continuous improvement and digitalisation projects to improve efficiency, operational visibility and service performance. /li liLeading and developing the local Supply Chain team, while working closely with internal departments, ZEISS Group functions, suppliers and external logistics partners. /li /ul h3Your Experience /h3 ul liA Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Administration or a similar field. /li liA minimum of five years' experience in project management and team coordination. /li liKnowledge of demand and supply planning, inventory management, warehouse and logistics processes,



and inbound and outbound transportation. /li liAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, experience with ERP and MRP systems, and the ability to analyse complex operational data. /li liFluent Italian and a good professional command of English, both written and spoken, at a minimum B2 level. /li /ul h3It Would Be Desirable If You Had /h3 ul liPrevious experience in Supply Chain, logistics, planning, inventory management, warehouse operations or transportation within a manufacturing, distribution or regulated business environment. /li liExperience with SAP, reporting and business intelligence tools, preferably Microsoft Power BI. /li liProfessional certifications in Supply Chain Management, Lean Management, Logistics or Project Management, and experience in an international or matrix organisation. /li /ul h3Your Benefits /h3 ul liBonus: Attendance, Production Performance. /li liAn additional benefits package. /li liOpportunities for professional development within an international organisation. /li /ul h3Role Details /h3 pLocation: Castiglione Olona, Italy. /p pThe position is mainly office-based, with regular presence in warehouse and logistics areas.
