We are looking for motivated Maintenance Engineers to support an industrial automation project in Italy. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers and technicians with hands-on industrial maintenance experience who want to gain further exposure to automated systems and industrial equipment.
The initial assignment is for three weeks, with a strong possibility of extension depending on project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
- Assist with PLC fault-finding and basic diagnostics, ideally on Siemens systems.
- Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of automated equipment.
- Identify equipment faults and assist with implementing effective solutions.
- Follow site safety procedures and maintenance standards.
- Work alongside the site engineering and technical teams to minimise equipment downtime.
Requirements
- Experience in industrial maintenance, electromechanical maintenance or industrial automation.
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Some experience with PLC troubleshooting or industrial control systems is advantageous.
- Siemens PLC experience is beneficial.
- A hands-on, proactive approach to fault-finding and problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
- Willingness to work on-site in Italy for the duration of the assignment.
- EU citizenship is essential.
- Must be available for a short-term contract, with the possibility of an extension.
