The Buyer for Direct Material(Sourcing Professional) contributes to procurement strategy for his/her product and execute order placement and agreements with suppliers supporting business KPIs.

The Buyer for Direct Material(Sourcing Professional) is responsible for:

- Contribute to developand executelong term strategies for the assigned commodity, ensuring best performance for procurement KPI




- Integrate commodity strategies into product leadership,sales,engineering,and manufacturingobjectives.
- Deal with New Product Development, driving supplier selection, development, and overall supplier management with support of engineering,sales,productleadershipandotherprocurementteamin accordance withthe business strategy
- Partner and be a point of reference for Product Leadership,SalesandEngineering for product strategy of the assigned commodity
- Develop negotiation strategies and leading negotiations to achieve stated goals andobjectivesof supply chain for Single PO as well as Strategic Partnership
- Negotiate and issue purchase orders with suppliers achieving lowestpossible costfor material, balanced againstoptimumquality and schedule needs
