h3Job Description /h3h3Contract Manager – Data Centres /h3h3Italy /h3pI am currently looking for an experienced Contract Manager to join a growing contracts function within an established international project management and consultancy business in Italy. /ppThis is an excellent opportunity to support a growing pipeline of Data Centre projects, working alongside major international investors, developers, contractors and project stakeholders. /ppThe successful candidate will manage the full contract lifecycle, from procurement strategy and contract formation through to negotiation, administration, claims management and commercial risk mitigation. The role would suit a confident, client-facing contracts professional with a strong understanding of Italian contractual legislation and experience working on complex construction projects. /ppThe business is expanding its contracts team to support multiple upcoming projects, offering the opportunity to contribute to the development of the function and work within an international project environment. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3h3Contract Management Administration /h3ullipManage the full contract lifecycle, from procurement strategy and contract formation through to negotiation, execution and administration. /p /lilipReview, interpret and administer construction contracts in line with contractual obligations and project requirements. /p /lilipProvide contractual guidance to project teams, clients, developers and other stakeholders. /p /lilipMonitor contractual compliance and ensure obligations, notices and deliverables are managed effectively. /p /lilipSupport the preparation, negotiation and review of contract documentation. /p /lilipIdentify contractual risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies. /p /li /ulh3Commercial Management Claims /h3ullipAssess and manage contractual claims, including extensions of time, quantum and time-related matters. /p /lilipReview variations, change orders and contractual entitlements. /p /lilipProvide clear, commercially focused analysis of contractual issues and disputes.



/p /lilipSupport the resolution of claims and disputes through effective contract interpretation and negotiation. /p /lilipIdentify commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle. /p /lilipWork collaboratively with commercial, project controls and project delivery teams. /p /li /ulh3Procurement Contract Formation /h3ullipSupport the development of procurement strategies for major construction projects. /p /lilipAssist with tender documentation, contract negotiations and contract award processes. /p /lilipReview proposed contractual terms and identify commercial or legal risks. /p /lilipSupport the selection and appointment of contractors and suppliers. /p /lilipEnsure contract structures align with project delivery requirements and client objectives. /p /lilipContribute to the development and improvement of contract management processes. /p /li /ulh3Client Stakeholder Management /h3ullipAct as a key point of contact for contractual matters across projects. /p /lilipWork closely with international investors, developers and other project stakeholders. /p /lilipProvide clear, direct and commercially sound contractual advice. /p /lilipLead contractual discussions and negotiations where required. /p /lilipBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants and internal teams. /p /lilipCommunicate complex contractual issues in a practical and accessible manner. /p /li /ulh3Project Risk Compliance /h3ulliIdentify, assess and manage contractual and commercial risks. /lilipSupport project teams in maintaining contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle. /p /lilipReview contractual documentation and project correspondence to identify potential risks. /p /lilipSupport the management of disputes, claims and contractual escalations.
