We are looking for a technically proficient and detail-driven Design Engineer to support the design and development of rotary / centrifugal compressors and related mechanical systems within the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, CAD modeling, and industrial standards relevant to oil & gas applications and will coordinate activities alongside external engineering company as well. Design of auxiliary systems, baseplate, mechanical/electrical components, tank,



vessel etc to meet the project requirements Ensure proper selection of Material Selection based on environmental / process conditions and project requirements Perform Risk Assessment and Design Validation Ability to manage Root Cause Analysis Support the Cost Optimization and Value Engineering while designing parts and skid Support specific Customer meeting relating to the 3D model review (30%, 60%, 90%), HFE meetings , review meetings, design review meetings Maintain version control and ensure compliance with industry standards (API, ASME, ISO) Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Creo, or Siemens NX (3-5 yrs experience) is a plus Familiarity with oil & gas equipment standards and operational environments or similar Experience with offshore application (NORSOK knowledge) is considered a plus Experience with simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL) is a plus Ability to interpret P&IDs; and engineering specifications Strong communication and collaboration abilities Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
