The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on expertise in Yocto Linux and embedded security with knowledge of near real-time software, communication protocols, and aeronautical software development standards. /p pWe are looking for one or two professionals, depending on the combination of technical skills and experience available. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop, build, customize, and maintain embedded Linux operating systems using the Yocto Project on ARM-based platforms. /li liConfigure and customize Yocto components, including meta-layers, recipes, BitBake configurations, kernel components, and root filesystems. /li liIntegrate and configure the U-Boot bootloader and secure boot mechanisms. /li liImplement and integrate embedded security features, including Mandatory Access Control (MAC) and Trusted Platform Module (TPM). /li liSupport the development and integration of near real-time embedded software. /li liWork with embedded communication protocols, particularly CANBus, CANopen, and ARINC 429. /li liContribute to software verification and validation activities for high-reliability, safety-critical systems. /li liSupport compliance with applicable aeronautical software development standards, particularly DO-178C. /li liPrepare and review test procedures, test reports, traceability documentation,



and validation evidence, where applicable. /li liCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure system security, reliability, performance, and compliance with project requirements. /li /ul h3Required Technical Skills /h3 h3Embedded Linux ARM Architecture /h3 ul liExtensive hands-on experience with ARM-based microprocessor systems. /li liProven practical experience building, customizing, and maintaining Yocto-based Linux distributions. /li liKnowledge of Yocto meta-layers, recipes, BitBake, kernel customization, and root filesystem configuration. /li /ul h3Embedded Security /h3 ul liExperience with U-Boot in embedded environments. /li liKnowledge of secure boot architectures and implementation mechanisms. /li liExperience with Mandatory Access Control (MAC), including technologies such as SELinux or AppArmor. /li liExperience integrating or configuring TPM on ARM-based embedded Linux platforms. /li /ul h3Real-Time Software Communication Protocols /h3 ul liKnowledge of near real-time or real-time embedded software development. /li liFamiliarity with CANBus and CANopen communication protocols. /li liKnowledge of ARINC 429. /li liUnderstanding of timing constraints, reliability requirements, and communication challenges in aerospace or automotive environments. /li /ul h3Aeronautical Standards Quality Assurance /h3 ul liFamiliarity with DO-178C and aeronautical software development processes.
