We are looking for a Vision Software Engineer to join the Engineering Business Unit of Stevanato Group, and help us design, develop and implement industrial vision systems to support product and process control.
The ideal candidate is a technical profile with competencies in software and automation, interested in vision systems applied to industrial environments, and willing to work in dynamic contexts, including international projects.Main responsibilities:Design, develop and implement industrial vision systems for product and process quality controlConfigure and integrate vision hardware and software (cameras, lenses and lighting systems) within automated machinesDevelop vision algorithms and applications using programming languages and dedicated librariesCollaborate with automation, engineering and production teams to ensure optimal integration of vision systems within production linesPerform testing, validation and troubleshooting activities on implemented systemsSupport installation, commissioning and start-up activities at customer sites, both in Italy and abroadContribute to the continuous improvement of vision solutions in terms of performance,



robustness and standardizationRequired skills and background:Bachelor's or Master's degree in scientific disciplines (Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science) or Engineering (Information Engineering, Electronics or similar); candidates with ITS background in mechatronics or IT will also be consideredGood knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++ or C# (or similar)English proficiency at least at B1 levelAvailability to travel in Italy and abroad for short periodsExperience in configuring Cognex smart cameras using the In-Sight interface is considered a plusKnowledge of machine vision development environments, such as Cognex Designer or equivalent solutions, is preferredFamiliarity with vision libraries (e.G. Cognex VisionPro, MVTec Halcon or similar) represents an advantageKnowledge of industrial vision hardware (cameras, optics and lighting systems), or a general background in optics or photography, is considered beneficialExperience or knowledge in machine learning applied to image analysis is a plusSalary: ******€ - ******€ depending on candidate's experience.
