Company Description Eternull Security is an offensive security firm specializing in red team operations, adversary emulation, and advanced Active Directory security assessments. We simulate real-world threat actors to uncover complex attack paths across enterprise environments. By replicating modern attacker tradecraft—from initial access through privilege escalation and domain dominance—we provide highly realistic, intelligence-driven assessments. Our team combines deep expertise in Windows internals, identity infrastructures, and contemporary attack techniques to expose high-impact vulnerabilities that traditional testing often misses. Client engagements emphasize stealth, precision, and low-noise execution, delivering practical guidance to strengthen defenses against sophisticated threats. Role Description The Cybersecurity Intern will support offensive security engagements by assisting with red team activities, adversary emulation, and technical research into emerging attack techniques. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing network and application security, reviewing configurations for security weaknesses, and documenting findings in a clear, structured format. You will work closely with senior team members to construct and manage lab environments, test tools and scripts, and contribute to internal playbooks and knowledge bases. This is a full-time, remote role requiring consistent availability during core business hours and proactive communication in a distributed team environment. Qualifications
• Foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles,
including threat modeling and common attack vectors.
• Knowledge of secure application design, common application vulnerabilities, and information protection best practices.
• Exposure to network protocols, firewalls, and network-based attack and defense techniques.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, alongside basic scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Genuine interest in offensive security, red teaming, and hands-on security labs; prior homelab experience is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with strict attention to detail in technical documentation.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate seamlessly with a distributed team.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or formal training in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
What We Offer
• Direct, hands-on experience with real-world red teaming and adversary emulation techniques.
• Mentorship from experienced offensive security professionals.
• Fully remote, flexible working environment. Our Hiring Process
• Application Review: Assessment of your resume and any provided homelab/project portfolios.
• Technical Interview: A brief discussion focusing on your foundational security knowledge and problem-solving approach.
