Johnson & Johnson seeks an Area Manager for Hematology to lead a team and medical-scientific activities across southern Italy. Reporting to the Business Unit Lead, this role combines team leadership, territorial performance management, and cross-functional collaboration within the pharmaceutical sales function.
Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and develop team; implement coaching and field-based development activities
Coordinate medical-scientific information activities, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and regulatory compliance
Analyze market performance, opportunities, and priorities; translate strategy into territorial action plans
Manage territory budget allocation; evaluate initiative effectiveness and resource-to-results ratio




Develop and manage stakeholder relationships; collaborate cross-functionally with Medical, Market Access, and Governmental Affairs
Requirements
Degree in scientific or economic disciplines
5+ years field-based experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sector
3+ years managing and developing teams with direct people management responsibility
Strong leadership, coaching, analytical, and results-oriented capabilities
Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
Fluent Italian and good English proficiency
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
Compensation:
€59,200–€102,350 base annually, plus performance-based premio or sales commissions
