Overview

In this role you will support the Sustainable Automation group in Milan by evaluating silicon and system-level solutions for industrial applications. You’ll work hands-on with analogue and digital electronics, performing design for test inputs, bench measurements, and cross-functional verification to ensure robust product releases. You will collaborate with product development, test, and applications teams to enable scalable, reliable solutions for harsh industrial environments. This role offers exposure to multiple technologies and end applications, with an emphasis on hands-on learning and problem solving in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilità

- Collaborate with Product Development to understand products and end applications and provide Design for Test inputs
- Support pre-silicon verification through hardware prototyping and software simulations
- Develop hardware and software measurement systems combining hardware design, software development, and data acquisition
- Hands-on debug of new products to validate functionality
- Identify silicon shortcomings and drive root-cause investigations and timely workarounds




- Conduct bench-top performance measurements, analyze data, and present silicon performance reports
- Collaborate with Test engineers for cross-correlation of bench and ATE measurements
- Work with Design, Test and Applications Engineers to overcome obstacles for a successful product release
- Travel up to 10%

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent
- Practical experience in test board design and layout with measurement techniques
- Experience in mixed signal hardware design, software development, data gathering and analysis
- Soldering skills would be an advantage
- Solid background in mixed signal electronics
- Strong problem solving and data analysis skills
- Good initiative and motivation in a technical environment
- Strong communication skills
- Programming experience: Matlab, Python, C/C++/C#, Lab View is a plus
