Overview

In this role you will manage overall project cost, schedule, and budgets while coordinating contractors and consultants. You will lead client meetings, advocate for the client during changes, and monitor cost drivers to support engineering decisions. You’ll oversee scheduling reviews and ensure timely delivery of close-out documentation and warranties. This position sits at the intersection of cost management and cross-functional project leadership within a global professional services firm.

Responsabilità

- Manage overall project cost, schedule, and budgets, with analysis and tracking of critical milestones
- Coordinate General Contractor, vendors, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle
- Review and approve construction proposals, pricing, scopes, and cost-loaded schedules
- Assess work-in-place, approve capital expenditures, and review payment requests
- Lead client meetings and advocate on behalf of the client during disputes, changes, or modifications
- Monitor and report on cost drivers to support engineering decisions related to project cost and budget




- Coordinate scheduling consultant reviews to ensure timelines are met
- Manage transfer of building operations to the client, including close-out documents and warranties
- Review and validate cost estimates prepared by contractors and client's organization
- Identify and record occurrences that might result in claims, acting on the client's behalf

Requisiti fondamentali

- Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in Life Sciences, High Tech facility, or Logistics construction
- Advanced skills in spreadsheets, report writing, and presentations
- Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to multi-task
- Self-motivated team player with entrepreneurial thinking and creativity
- Experience in managing teams, delivering commissions, and business development
- Fluent in English and Italian
