FAO is seeking an experienced Fishing Technology and Operations Specialist to support the NFIFP team in Rome, Italy. The consultant will engage with regulatory and technical aspects of fishing operations, gear technology and compliance across international projects, including field missions as required.

The role encompasses potential home-based work and travel, with a focus on sustainable fisheries, environmental stewardship and safety at sea within the PSMA framework.
