Overview
As a Food Safety Specialist at our Portogruaro Plant, you join a startup project team to provide Food Safety expertise across development phases, from hygienic design to validation. You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Factory Quality, and stakeholders to implement safety standards and support process and product validation. Your work spans the manufacturing process, ensuring Food Safety requirements shape the project from material reception to packaging. This role offers exposure to cross-functional collaboration and impact on the plant’s safety and quality culture.

Responsabilità Implement and oversee operational Food Safety standards across areas such as hygiene, allergen management, pest control, microbiology, and contaminants
Provide technical support across processes in relevant Food Safety areas




Contribute to design and continuous improvement activities in manufacturing processes
Collaborate with Engineering on hygienic design from a Food Safety perspective
Support microbiological validation activities and product/process validation with Factory Quality
Assist in data collection and documentation for validation activities
Ensure Food Safety considerations are integrated throughout start-up project development
Coordinate with internal project stakeholders, Factory Quality, and central Quality teams
Requisiti fondamentali 2–3 years of experience in Food Safety or Quality in manufacturing/operations
University Degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Life Sciences or related field
Strong Food Safety expertise with microbiological background
Project-oriented mindset and ability to work cross-functionally
Fluency in Italian and English
