Construction is one of the biggest industries in the world, and one of the last still running on paper, spreadsheets, and phone calls. We’re here to change that.
Pillar is building the financial operating system for construction, helping construction business owners understand what’s happening across their job sites and manage their business in real time.
And we’re moving fast:
- Founded on February 13, 2025, we’ve grown to 40 people in less than a year.
- €12M raised just 12 months after incorporation.
- Backed by top-tier investors including Base10 (Silicon Valley), Earlybird (Germany), and Italian Founders Fund.
- 500+ customers already using our platform.
Why now
University teaches you management, finance, and marketing. But it rarely teaches you how to sell.
That’s where we come in:
- Learn by doing, from day one. No sales experience needed. You’ll learn how to prospect, run conversations, qualify opportunities, and understand what makes a business grow.
- Build real skills, fast. You’ll rotate across Outbound and Inbound Sales, learning different parts of the sales process and discovering where you can make the biggest impact.
- Own your growth. This isn’t a program where you sit back and watch. You’ll have clear targets, hands‑on coaching, and increasing responsibility as you progress.
- See how a startup is built from the inside. Understand B2B SaaS, how technology can transform an industry, and how a go‑to‑market engine actually works.
- A clear path forward. After 12 months, you’ll have the opportunity to move into a permanent role as a Team Lead or Junior Account Executive, depending on your strengths and performance.
What you'll do
Your mission is simple:
learn to sell and build the foundations of your career.
You’ll follow a structured 12-month journey, starting with the toughest part of sales and building your way up.
You’ll start with the fundamentals: reaching out to people who don’t know us yet.
- Prospect and contact potential customers through cold calls, emails, and social channels.
- Learn how to start conversations, handle objections, and turn a “no” into an opportunity to learn.
- Understand the construction market and identify businesses that could agevolazioni from Pillar.
- Qualify prospects and generate real sales opportunities.
- Work toward clear, measurable targets and use data and feedback to improve your performance.
This is where you build the foundations of a great salesperson: resilience, curiosity, and the ability to create opportunities from scratch.
Once you’ve mastered the basics, you’ll move to inbound leads and learn the other side of the sales process.
- Manage incoming leads and qualify their needs, timing, and potential.
- Run first conversations and identify the right opportunities for our Account Executives.
- Build a solid understanding of our sales funnel and how opportunities move through it.
- Manage follow-ups and keep your pipeline organized.
- Learn how to turn existing interest into qualified opportunities and contribute directly to revenue.
By the end of the program, you’ll understand the sales process end to end and have the experience to take the next step in your career.
Together, we’ll identify the path that best fits your strengths, ambitions, and performance.
Manage and coach 3 new team members while continuing to work on leads for 50% of your time. The right path if you enjoy helping people grow just as much as hitting your own targets.
Take ownership of your own deals and learn how to manage opportunities through to closing. The right path if you’re motivated by negotiation, building customer relationships, and winning business.
Both paths come with increased responsibility, a permanent contract, and access to our ESOP
stock option plan.

- You’re comfortable with numbers. You like understanding what works, reading the data, and figuring out how to improve.
- You’re resilient. You can hear “no” repeatedly without losing your energy, and you see setbacks as opportunities to get better.
