pTo support our Company’s growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic Platform Systems Engineer who will be part of our Systems Engineering Unit, contributing to the development of innovative and exciting space missions based on Small Satellite platforms, with a primary focus on system architecture and platform design and implementation processes. /p h3DUTIES /h3 pAs a bPlatform Systems Engineer /b , you will manage all the critical aspects of the spacecraft design and architecture, overseeing all system-level activities.br/In this role, you will ensure full compliance with system-level requirements, contributing to complex space missions throughout the complete spacecraft life cycle, from proposal and design phases to launch and in-orbit operations. /p pThe activities will include (but are not limited to): /p ul liInvolvement in space projects (from phase 0/A up to E) as accountable for system- and subsystem-level design activities; /li liCoordination with the Mission Architect / Technical Lead and other technical figures in the team; /li liDefinition and management of technical requirements and specifications throughout the entire project lifecycle; /li liSupport the definition of Mission Concepts of Operations and Mission profiles; /li liDevelop, support and review system analyses and budgets; /li liPerform functional and FMEA analyses, leading to FDIR development; /li liPreparation of technical documentation, reports and technical notes; /li liSupport AIT, AIV and qualification activities at system or subsystem levels; /li liSupport Flight Operations definition and execution; /li liInterface with Quality Department and participate in (external/internal) NRB and NCR processes and configuration control processes; /li liPreparation of technical proposals for new projects.



/li /ul h3GENERAL REQUIREMENTS /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Aerospace or Space Engineering or related technical field; /li liAt least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within space field; /li liExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams; /li liHigh flexibility and team-working capability; /li liHands-on and proactive approach; /li liAbility to work within multidisciplinary and international teams; /li liExcellent written and oral communication in English. /li /ul h3REQUIRED EXPERIENCE SKILLS /h3 ul liKnowledge of system budgets (at least mass, power, energy, volume); /li liKnowledge of mission, system and subsystems requirements definition and validation; /li liGood understanding of satellite architecture and design; /li liKnowledge of interfaces between subsystems (data, power, electrical); /li liKnowledge of mission phases (as ECSS standard) and main activities to be performed; /li liGeneral knowledge of spacecraft AIV campaign steps; /li liKnowledge of system engineering tools and processes; /li liKnowledge of aerospace systems applicable standards, such as ECSS, MIL, NASA STD; /li liKnowledge of space component technologies and European/market of Small Satellite. /li /ul h3ADDITIONAL ASSETS /h3 ul liExperience in the AOCS field will be considered a plus; /li liKnowledge of FDIR design and implementation; /li liExperience with MBSE approach and implementation; /li liKnowledge of JIRA and Confluence in Agile working framework; /li liExperience with CubeSat and SmallSat platforms; /li liExperience with in-orbit spacecraft operations; /li liPerformed projects review under Agency supervision (e.g. ESA, NASA, ASI).
