Remuneration: €4,000–€5,500 gross per month + 4% professional contribution

We're continuing to develop our project portfolio across Italy and are looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager / Senior Site Manager to join our Delivery team on an exciting new project in Pavia.

With the project secured and construction approaching, this is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of on-site delivery and play a key role in bringing a high-quality commercial workspace to life.

The Opportunity

Working closely with our Milan-based Delivery team, you'll be responsible for coordinating and overseeing day-to-day construction activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

You'll act as a key point of contact on site, working with subcontractors, suppliers and internal project stakeholders to keep works progressing smoothly and in line with project expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily site operations, coordinating subcontractors, trades and suppliers.
- Monitor construction progress against agreed programmes, identifying and resolving potential delays.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and site compliance throughout the project.
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate site activities to minimise disruption and maintain efficient project delivery.
- Carry out regular site inspections, identifying quality issues and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.




- Maintain accurate site records, progress updates and relevant project documentation.
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers, design teams and other stakeholders to resolve technical and operational challenges.
- Support project handover, snagging and completion activities.

About You

We're interested in speaking with experienced Site Managers who can confidently take responsibility for construction delivery in a fast-paced project environment.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager within the construction industry.
- Experience delivering commercial interiors, workplace fit-out, refurbishment or design-and-build projects.
- Strong subcontractor management and site coordination capabilities.
- A thorough understanding of construction health and safety requirements.
- The ability to interpret technical drawings, coordinate trades and maintain quality standards.
- Excellent organisation, communication and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the confidence to make decisions and resolve issues on site.
- Experience working with construction management and reporting platforms, such as Procore, would be advantageous.
