PRODUCTION ASSISTANT – KNITWEAR THE ROLE

We are looking for a Production Assistant with at least one year of experience in the fashion or luxury industry to join our Production Team. Previous experience in knitwear is a plus.

The role involves supporting the day-to-day production activities, with a focus on knitwear, and working closely with the Product Development and Design teams, as well as external suppliers, to ensure production runs smoothly and deliveries are on time.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Support the completion and updating of DIBA components in the company system.
- Prepare documentation for production launches.
- Organize production fittings and prepare fitting comments.
- Coordinate with suppliers to prepare and check care labels.
- Enter sales price lists and create production orders.
- Follow up on production progress, checking timelines and product quality.
- Coordinate shipments to and from manufacturers.
- Organize and archive production materials and documents each season.




- Stay in regular contact with suppliers and internal teams to manage daily production activities and resolve any issues.

WHO YOU ARE

- You have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role in the fashion or luxury industry. Experience in knitwear production is a plus.
- You have a basic understanding of garment production processes and an interest in knitwear.
- You are fluent in Italian and have a good level of written and spoken English.
- You are organized, precise, and able to manage different tasks and priorities.
- You have good communication and problem-solving skills.
- You are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- You are proactive, hands-on, and willing to learn.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Microsoft Word: excellent knowledge.
- Microsoft Excel: excellent knowledge.
- Adobe Creative Suite: knowledge of InDesign is a plus.
- Previous experience with ERP or production management systems is a plus.
