We are looking for an HPC System Engineering Expert to support the administration, operation and evolution of a complex High Performance Computing environment.

Responsibilities

- Administer Linux/Unix-based HPC clusters.
- Manage compute nodes, GPU resources and cluster services.
- Configure workload managers such as Slurm, PBS or equivalent.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and troubleshoot hardware, OS, network and storage issues.
- Support system upgrades, automation, performance tuning and capacity planning.
- Contribute to the technical evolution of the HPC platform.

Requirements

- 5+ years of professional IT/infrastructure experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on HPC experience.
- Strong Linux/Unix administration skills.




- Experience with HPC schedulers such as Slurm or PBS.
- Knowledge of MPI, OpenMP and parallel computing.
- Experience with HPC storage, scripting and automation.
- Familiarity with Docker, Singularity/Apptainer.
- Experience with CPU/GPU environments and performance optimisation.
- Fluent English.

Nice to have: InfiniBand, Lustre/GPFS/BeeGFS, Azure, SQL, ETL, Power BI.
