FURNITURE DESIGNER

Join CLAUDIO BELLINI Studio in Milan

We are looking for a talented and motivated Furniture Designer with at least three years of professional experience to join our creative team in Milan.

Working with us

CLAUDIO BELLINI Studio is an established international design practice collaborating with furniture manufacturers and brands across the world, from smaller, specialized companies to major international groups.

Our work spans different furniture sectors, materials, manufacturing techniques, and markets. This diversity gives our designers the opportunity to explore new challenges, develop their expertise, and gain a broad understanding of the industry.

We work as a team, exchanging ideas and sharing knowledge throughout the design process. Designers are actively involved from early concepts and sketches through prototyping, technical development, exchanges with manufacturers and clients, and final production. Seeing how an idea evolves into a finished product is an important part of the experience we offer.

It is a dynamic environment where collaboration is part of everyday life, and where individual talent, initiative, and commitment can make a real difference.

As their skills and experience develop, designers can take on greater project responsibilities, including team coordination, direct relationships with international clients, and involvement in key project decisions. International travel, client visits, and industry events also provide opportunities to experience different markets, cultures, and manufacturing environments firsthand.

Who we’re looking for

We’re interested in designers with a strong creative instinct, a good understanding of furniture design, and the ability to turn ideas into products.

You should have at least three years of professional experience in furniture design, a degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field, and a portfolio that demonstrates your talent, design thinking, and technical abilities.

We expect solid skills in sketching, 2D drawing, 3D modelling, and visualization, particularly with Rhino, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite. Familiarity with AI design tools is welcome, while experience with Blender and upholstered furniture is an advantage.

Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and product development is important, as is the ability to work effectively with others and communicate confidently in English.

Above all, we value creativity, initiative, curiosity, and the willingness to learn. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute, take on challenges, and grow professionally with us.

What we offer

We offer competitive, experience-based compensation, performance-related bonuses, and the prospect of a long-term professional collaboration on a freelance consultancy basis (Partita IVA).

You will work alongside a multicultural team on international projects, with opportunities to learn from experienced professionals, broaden your technical and creative skills, and progressively assume greater responsibility for projects and, where appropriate, team coordination and client relationships.
