Overviewwe are looking for a student experience coordinator to support ifsa's programmes in rome, italy. the role involves providing academic and cultural support to undergraduate study-abroad students, organising co-curricular activities and contributing to overall programme operations.responsibilitiessupport orientation, excursions and other events, with a focus on custom programmes planning, delivery and post-delivery follow-up.assist ifsa staff and faculty in planning and delivering co- and extra-curricular activities.prepare and present pre-arrival student webinars.coordinate program arrivals and welfare check-ins.organise and support excursions, co-curricular activities, orientations and other events.assist in preparing and implementing programme budgets.conduct appreciative-advising meetings, learning-plan consultations and regular check-ins with students.monitor student integration and well-being through communication and campus visits.support academic management, including course registration.contribute to emergency response and student incident management.serve as first point of contact for general student inquiries.prepare communications,



newsletters and social-media posts for students and university partners.carry out other duties assigned by the italy programs director, including remote collaboration on student engagement and institutional partnership projects.requirementsexperience in higher education, tourism, event planning or hospitality (preferred).strong time-management and planning skills; ability to work independently on time-sensitive tasks.professional proficiency in italian and english.attention to detail in document creation and data management.digital competence, including use of salesforce, microsoft 365, whatsapp business, instagram and xero (preferred).ability to work well in a team and engage with diverse student populations.flexibility to adapt to ambiguous and changing situations.undergraduate degree (preferred) and legal right to work in italy.physical and work environmentwork on a computer, phone and video calls; navigate the ifsa site and travel for events and excursions.occasional outdoor work in various weather conditions and occasional weekend travel.potential meetings outside local business hours due to global operations.
