Missionrina is recruiting a senior building hvac engineer for its office in genoa, within the civil engineering division.key accountabilitiesdesign and develop hvac systems within building mep frameworks, including air distribution, hydronic networks, ventilation, air-conditioning and heating.define and coordinate main ductwork layouts, piping routes and drainage connections, including condensate drains.design and size domestic hot water (dhw) systems.develop building drainage networks (sanitary sewer, grey-water, white-water, storm-water).perform load calculations and size equipment such as chillers, heat pumps, boilers, ahus, fcus, vrf systems, pumps and heat-recovery units.coordinate subcontractors and ensure integration with plumbing and bms controls.stay updated on emerging hvac technologies, smart controls, bms integration, high-efficiency equipment and renewable solutions.prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, calculations and reports from concept to construction.collaborate with architectural, structural,



electrical and fire-protection engineers to guarantee full system integration.apply high-performance strategies (heat recovery, variable flow, free cooling, low-gwp refrigerants) to improve energy efficiency and sustainability.support building physics assessments (thermal comfort, indoor air quality, acoustics, energy use).conduct design reviews, ensure constructability and compliance with client requirements and regulations.education & qualificationsmaster's degree in mechanical engineering or civil engineering.at least 5 years of experience in building engineering and hvac system design.proficiency in hvac load calculations, equipment sizing, control philosophies and bms integration.knowledge of international and national hvac standards, ventilation, energy performance and refrigerants.strong coordination and communication skills, fluent english.compensationgross annual salary €38 000 - €48 000, plus variable annual compensation.company welfare benefits.
