AI-ready Data Products for Manufacturing Data Spaces:
TXT e-Tech, a company of the TXT Group, is looking for a candidate for a curricular internship linked to a Master's thesis project.

The thesis/internship will focus on the design and prototyping of AI-ready Data Products for Manufacturing Data Spaces within the AeroMES-AI project.

The activity will involve the analysis and integration of open-source technologies such as Eclipse Tractus-X and Eclipse Dataspace Connector (EDC), addressing key topics including data quality, metadata management, semantic interoperability, and data provenance.

The project will culminate in the development of a Proof of Concept (PoC), in which industrial data originating from systems such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platforms are prepared, governed, and securely shared through a Data Space, enabling their consumption by AI-powered services developed by TXT.





Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and design AI-ready Data Products for Manufacturing Data Spaces.
Research, evaluate, and integrate Eclipse Tractus-X and Eclipse Dataspace Connector (EDC) technologies.
Develop Java-based Data Space components and supporting services.
Define and implement data management concepts, including metadata, semantic models, data quality, and data provenance.
Design and develop a Proof of Concept (PoC) enabling the secure publication, sharing, and consumption of industrial data by AI-driven services.
Integrate and validate the solution against a real-world use case within the AeroMES-AI project.

Education:
Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, preferably with a specialization in Java Backend Development, Cloud & Distributed Systems, and Data Engineering.

Soft Skills:
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, curiosity and a willingness to learn emerging technologies, effective teamwork and communication skills, as well as a proactive, independent, and pragmatic approach to research and prototyping.

Full professional proficiency in Italian and a good command of English are required.

The curricular internship has a duration of 6 months and includes meal vouchers worth €7 per working day.

Hybrid Working Model: 2 days per week on-site in Cologno Monzese and 3 days per week working remotely.
