Eurofins seeks a Field Application Specialist in Molecular Biology to serve as the primary technical-scientific contact for clients across central and southern Italy. The role combines technical support, customer training, and sales enablement for molecular diagnostics platforms in hospital labs, diagnostic centers, and research facilities.
Responsibilities
Provide technical-scientific guidance and support to assigned regional clients
Conduct technical presentations, applications demonstrations, and instrument trials at customer sites
Manage platform installations, operational qualifications, validations, and startup activities
Deliver technical and applications training to end users
Provide first-level remote and on-site technical support; troubleshoot application issues
Requirements
Degree in Biology,



Biotechnology, Biomedical Laboratory Techniques, or related scientific discipline
Minimum 2 years experience in molecular diagnostics, in vitro diagnostics (IVD), or laboratory applications
Strong knowledge of PCR, Real-Time PCR, nucleic acid extraction, and NGS technologies
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and training skills with customer focus
Technical English proficiency and advanced Microsoft Office competency
Valid category B driving license and availability for frequent travel in assigned territory
Compensation:
€33,000 base + €1,000 MBO
