Behind our programmes is an international team spanning academic operations, student services, admissions, marketing and technology. As OPIT continues to grow across international markets, we are expanding our marketing team with a new senior role. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing & Admissions, the Senior Marketing Manager will lead the marketing team and drive the growth of student enrolments across markets. ? About this role You will contribute to OPIT’s marketing strategy, be accountable for its end-to-end execution and lead the team to deliver it. You will:
• Execute the marketing strategy across acquisition, brand and retention, in line with enrollment targets
• Turn marketing priorities into a clear execution plan, calendar and briefs, and make sure they are delivered
• Coordinate the internal team and external specialists (website, SEO/GEO), keeping everyone aligned on goals and deadlines
• Own performance marketing: budget allocation, channel mix, funnel optimisation, CAC and conversion KPIs
• Drive visibility on AI-driven search and answer engines (GEO), alongside SEO and paid channels
• Oversee social media strategy and content across platforms, delivering the editorial plan and a calendar of key moments, and ensuring a consistent, authoritative and credible brand voice
• Oversee PR and offline activities, including events and student and alumni networking initiatives
• Work closely with Admissions, Academics and Product to turn programmes into compelling, market-ready propositions
• Report on results to the Head of Marketing & Admissions and leadership with clear, data-driven insights ? Ideal Candidate
• 7+ years in marketing, with at least 2 in a people management role
• Proven track record in strategic marketing: you have built and owned plans, not only executed them
• Strong performance marketing skills, with hands-on experience in paid acquisition (Google Ads, Meta Ads) and funnel analytics
• Strong with data: GA4, ad platforms, CRM reporting and dashboard tools
• Solid experience in social media management and content strategy
• Experience with GEO is a strong plus
• Background in digital products or subscription/B2C businesses (edtech is a plus); purely academic or institutional marketing experience is not a fit for this role
• A team player with a hands-on attitude
• Fluent English; Italian and other languages are a plus ? Our Hiring Process
