Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review technical documentation related to safety and loss prevention engineering

• Participate in interdisciplinary document reviews and project coordination activities

• Develop Loss Prevention Philosophy, Safety Concepts, and Fire Protection Design Basis documents

• Prepare Hazardous Area Classification drawings and schedules

• Develop Passive Fire Protection (PFP) specifications, schedules, and layouts

• Prepare Fire & Gas Design Philosophy documents and Fire & Gas Detection layouts

• Develop safety equipment location plans, escape route layouts, and safety signage drawings

• Carry out design and characterization of firefighting systems and related documentation





• Perform hydraulic calculations for firewater networks and spray systems

• Prepare specifications, material requisitions (MR), technical bid evaluations (TBE), and review vendor documentation

• Coordinate HAZID, HAZOP, and other safety workshops, reviewing studies performed by third-party consultants

• Prepare and review Firewater Network P&IDs;

• Coordinate with drafting teams for the development of engineering drawings

✅ 10-15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry

✅ Offshore wellhead and/or process platform experience preferred

✅ Strong experience in loss prevention, fire protection, and process safety engineering

✅ Familiarity with ADNOC, QatarEnergy, Shell, and Saudi Aramco standards and international regulations

✅ Experience in multidisciplinary engineering projects and coordination activities
