With over 180,000 hotels audited worldwide, we support leading international tour operators, travel companies, accommodation providers and bedbanks in assessing and managing Health & Safety risks across their accommodation portfolios . We are currently looking for a Freelance Health & Safety Auditor based in Italy to support a major international holiday villa inspection programme . Location & Project Scop e ?? ITALY – Mainly Tuscany, Umbria, Marche & Laz io The project involves approximately 92 holiday villa inspections, with the main concentrations i n:
* Tuscany: Florence surroundings, Arezzo, Siena, Grosseto and Lucca area s.
* Umbria: Orvieto, Perugia surroundings and other location s.
* Marche: Macerata, Fermo, Pesaro-Urbino and surrounding area s.
* Lazio: Northern Lazio, Rieti and surrounding area s. Additional properties are located in other parts of Ital y. We particularly welcome candidates based in Tuscany, Umbria or neighbouring regions, with good local geographical knowledge and the flexibility to trave l. The portfolio may be geographically divided depending on the successful candidate’s location and availabilit y. Key Responsibiliti es
* Conduct on-site Health & Safety inspections of private holiday villa s.
* Assess fire safety, swimming pools, balconies, stairs and other potential hazard s.




* Contact property owners and coordinate inspection appointment s.
* Plan and organise efficient inspection route s.
* Complete digital audit reports using HotelCheck’s online platfor m.
* Document findings with photographs and supporting evidenc e. Candidate Requiremen ts
* Previous experience in Health & Safety, property inspections, hospitality, tourism or a related fiel d.
* Fluent Italian and good working knowledge of Englis h.
* Freelance/self-employed status, with the ability to issue invoice s.
* Valid driving licence and access to a vehicl e.
* Strong organisational, communication and reporting skill s.
* Ability to work independently and manage inspection schedule s.
