Leonardo is a trusted technological and industrial partner of Governments, Defence Administrations, Institutions and Enterprises.Within the **Business Control Area**, we are looking for a **Program Controller** for our site in **Cascina Costa (Varese, Italy)**, who will support the financial planning, monitoring and performance control of complex programs, acting as a key business partner for Program Managers and cross-functional teams. ## **JOB TITLE: Program Controller** ## ACTIVITIESThe successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities:* Support program planning, budgeting and forecasting activities throughout the program lifecycle.* Plan and monitor program costs, revenues and margins, ensuring consistency with business objectives.* Define and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and related financial reporting structures.* Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions and recovery plans.* Define methodologies and requirements for collecting,



consolidating and managing program financial information.* Prepare and analyze periodic performance reports and dashboards for management and key stakeholders.* Support Program Managers and project teams in evaluating the financial impact of business decisions and operational alternatives.* Act as a focal point for program financial planning tools, methodologies and processes.* Collaborate with Finance, Accounting and other business functions to ensure compliance with corporate procedures and financial policies.* Support revenue allocation and revenue recognition activities in accordance with applicable accounting standards.* Analyze overall business performance and provide insights to support decision-making processes. ## REQUIREMENTS## Education* Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Management Engineering or equivalent## Seniority* Junior:1-3 years of experience in Controlling, Finance, FP&A;, Project Control or similar roles. ## Technical Knowledge and Skills* Knowledge of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes* Understanding of cost control and financial performance analysis* Knowledge of project and program management principles* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills* Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP is considered a plus)* Familiarity with revenue recognition and management accounting principles* Strong analytical and quantitative skills ## Behavioral Competencies* Proactivity* Problem Solving* Flexibility and adaptability* Teamwork and collaboration* Effective communication skills* Attention to detail* Results-oriented mindset ## Language Skills* English: B2 level or higher ## IT Skills* Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel and PowerPoint)* SAP and Business Intelligence tools are considered a plus ## Other* Ability to work in an international and cross-functional environment**Seniority:**Junior**Primary Location:**IT - Varese - Cascina Costa**Contract Type:** **Total Base Pay Range:**32K-43K**Hybrid Working:**Hybrid
