Our client is a well-established intellectual property firm based in Milan, providing comprehensive, specialist assistance across industrial property rights, specifically focusing on patents, trademarks, designs, and copyright. To support ongoing growth within their patent department, they are seeking an ambitious professional to join their team in Milan.

The Role:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a full-time Patent Attorney (Mandatario Brevetti) to join the firm's patent practice in Milan.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drafting, filing, and prosecuting domestic and international patent applications.
- Providing strategic advice and opinion work regarding industrial property rights, patentability, and freedom-to-operate.
- Managing complex patent portfolios across diverse technical sectors, including chemistry,



pharmaceuticals, biology, microbiology, food & nutrition, and biomedical engineering.
- Representing clients in administrative proceedings, oppositions, and official legal formalities.
- Collaborating closely with internal colleagues and overseas foreign associates to coordinate global IP protection.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

- University degree or PhD with technical expertise in chemistry, pharmaceuticals, biology, microbiology, food and nutrition, or biomedical engineering (biotechnology specialization).
- Italian and/or European Patent Attorney qualification already obtained (including partial qualification).
- Strong proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Availability and willingness to travel as required.
