We are looking for a talented **Production & Material Planning Intern** to join our Supply Chain team at our Cummins facility in Cameri (NO), Italy, for a 6-month internship. This is an exciting opportunity for a student or recent graduate interested in developing practical experience in production and material planning within an international manufacturing environment. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will gain hands-on exposure to production processes, supplier management, inventory coordination, and supply chain operations, contributing to the efficient running of our manufacturing facility and ensuring customer delivery commitments are met. **To be successful in this role, you will need the following:** + Strong analytical and organisational skills, with an interest in production planning, manufacturing processes, and supply chain operations. + Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with data and pivot tables. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to interact with production operators, supervisors, suppliers, and cross-functional teams. + A proactive, flexible, and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment. + Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating attention to detail and a willingness to learn. + Excellent Italian communication skills, both written and spoken, and a good working knowledge of English. **Education/Experience:** + Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. + An interest in production planning, material management, manufacturing, or supply chain operations. + Previous internship or practical experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment would be an advantage but is not required.
