Position

Develop combustor hardware including burners, combustors, and fuel distribution systems (FDS) Release of design and manufacturing documentation (drawings, 3D CAD models, product structures and part lists, I&T; plans, NCR’s) Perform feasibility studies of design to cost solutions. Build and maintain a combustor cost database for detailed cost data, including historic data of existing parts. Interface to Mechanical Integration, Compressor and Turbine departments for design integration tasks Develop and maintain interfaces to other engineering teams, sourcing, manufacturing and quality, and external suppliers of combustor design services.

Requirements





At least 2 years experience in the field Possess a university degree in mechanical engineering, with a preferred focus on turbomachinery, aerospace, process technology, mechatronics, or energy technology. Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in distributed, multi-disciplinary teams with complex interfaces. Exhibit skills in Root-Cause Analysis and structured problem-solving methods, such as 8D. Have proficiency in using 3D CAD tools; experience with NX12 is advantageous. Show willingness to travel to power plants, construction sites or to suppliers; (once a month, occasionally for up to two weeks). Possess excellent command of Italian and English

Other information

For this position, the initial annual gross salary will be not less than €34.000 Permanent contract CCNL industria metalmeccanica privata e installazione di impianti Premio di risultato and conditions in compliance with the second-level collective agreements.
