This position will provide HSE leadership and support to business HUNB operations, ensuring effective risk management, employee engagement, contractor safety, incident prevention, and continuous improvement of HSE performance.
The Operations HSE Specialist will be responsible for leading, implementing, and continuously improving Health, Safety and Environmental programs across Hitachi Energy operations in the EU HUB.

- Supporting business leaders in achieving HSE objectives and fostering a positive safety culture.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable legal, customer, and corporate HSE requirements.
- Conducting risk assessments and supporting the implementation of effective mitigation measures.
- Monitoring HSE performance indicators and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leading incident investigations and ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Supporting contractor management, site inspections, audits, and management reviews.
- Delivering HSE training, awareness programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to promote best practices and operational excellence.
- Supporting sustainability and environmental compliance initiatives.
