Job Description
Business development is central to this role. The Business Development Manager (BDM) will promote and specify Tridium’s Niagara products to end users, influencers and technology partners across multiple vertical markets.
Based in Italy, ideally Milan, and reporting to the Head of EMEA Sales, the BDM will take direct ownership of key customer relationships primarily across Italy, with additional responsibility for neighboring Western European territories and selected relationships across the wider EMEA region. The role includes managing existing customers, but its primary focus is identifying new territories, vertical markets and customer opportunities, then developing them into long-term users of Tridium products.
Responsibilities




Act as the primary customer interface for developing new business and building relationships that support growth across Tridium EMEA.
Create and own regional plans and strategies that expand the customer base and increase sales.
Communicate key messages, initiatives and the value Tridium brings to target customers, opportunities and solutions.
Drive sales by understanding each target customer’s business, organisation and commercial drivers, and by clearly articulating Tridium’s value.
Build partnerships with prospective customers and maximise the business potential for both parties.
