Job Description Datalogic is seeking an experienced Global R&D; Director to lead the technology strategy and product development activities of its Mobile Business Unit, within Datalogic’s Data Capture Product Group. Reporting directly to the Business Unit General Manager, this role is responsible for translating business priorities into a clear technology roadmap and driving the successful execution of global product development programs through internal teams and ODM partners. The successful candidate will own the full product development lifecycle, from concept definition to industrialization, market launch, and lifecycle support, ensuring delivery against quality, cost, performance, and time-to-market objectives. this role requires strong technical and cross-cultural people leadership, expertise in complex connected hardware/software products, and proven experience managing ODM ecosystems and other external development partnerships.
