Overview

In this role you design, implement and maintain MES solutions to support ABB's manufacturing objectives. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture requirements, provide technical support, and ensure best practices and project standards. You monitor MES performance, stay current with platform developments, and share knowledge across sites to drive global reuse. You contribute to automation and ensure robust testing and architectural validation. This is a hands-on, impact-driven role within ABB IS focused on improving manufacturing efficiency.

Responsabilità

- Design and implement MES solutions on the Critical Manufacturing MES platform
- Collaborate with manufacturing units to gather requirements and provide technical support
- Create and maintain MES-related documentation and project standards
- Monitor MES performance, report issues, and propose improvements
- Stay updated on MES developments and participate in learning activities
- Share knowledge across sites and promote reusable solutions




- Contribute to automation initiatives to improve development and deployment processes
- Follow coding standards, participate in code reviews, and act on feedback
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests per testing standards
- Support architectural design analysis and technical validation for MES Local Projects

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor in Information Technology
- Experience in developing and implementing MES solutions
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and MES impact
- Practical experience with the Critical Manufacturing development framework
- Proficiency in C#, .Net Framework, SQL, PowerShell, RESTful services, HTML5, JavaScript, Node.js, Angular
- Knowledge of front-end concepts, unit testing frameworks, and cross-browser compatibility
- Problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication in a multicultural, distributed team
- Awareness of MES standards and best practices
- Commitment to building MES knowledge and pursuing certifications
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- English proficiency
