Overview

In this fixed-term role, you drive technical sales within a defined Italian territory, solving customers’ analytical chemistry challenges. You partner with cross-functional teams to demonstrate products, build key account relationships, and shape business plans for growth. You’ll represent Phenomenex at events and translate complex ideas into practical solutions that advance customers’ research. This role blends science, sales, and continuous improvement to impact human health.

Responsabilità

- Coordinate customer visits to provide technical information, product demonstrations and seminars
- Attend local vendor shows and company-sponsored trade shows
- Develop account relationships beyond purchasing to engage key decision-makers
- Ensure territory meets sales, gross profit, and unit goals




- Collaborate with Sales Manager to develop business plans and sales strategies
- Work with cross-functional teams and provide coaching, mentoring, and training as needed

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology or related Science
- Ability to analyze, facilitate dialogue, communicate complex concepts, and negotiate
- Advanced knowledge of sales principles and methods of negotiation
- Good knowledge of Chromatography with at least two years in laboratory or scientific products sales
- Strong Italian and English communication
- Willingness to travel 10–20% overnight
- Valid driver’s license
