Join Baker Hughes as Components Commodity Buyer to shape the procurement strategy for assigned commodities and manage supplier agreements. You will lead supplier selection, development, and negotiations, coordinating with Product Leadership, Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing to align with business goals. Your work supports New Product Development and cost-out initiatives across a global energy technology platform. You will leverage S&OP; data to balance cost, quality and delivery while driving cross-functional collaboration and value creation.

Responsabilità

- Contribute to long-term commodity strategies and KPIs
- Integrate commodity plans with Product Leadership, Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing
- Support New Product Development through supplier selection and management




- Lead negotiations and issue purchase orders to optimize value
- Develop procurement initiatives for cost-out, deflation targets, cycle-time reduction, and cash flow improvements
- Leverage S&OP; data to align supplier capacity with business objectives

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor in Engineering or Economics or related field
- experience in Procurement or Commodity Management
- experience in Procurement, Operations and Supply Chain management
- fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken)
