Overview

In this role, you will lead the General Finishing segment marketing strategy across EMEAI to drive profitable growth. You will align product, pricing, promotion, and service models with market needs, and guide cross-functional teams to enable Sales with value selling and activation programs. You’ll translate market insights into strategic plans and programs that open new business and strengthen our market position. This is an opportunity to shape go-to-market approaches for both powder and liquid technologies in a global coatings leader.

Responsabilità

- Define and execute the General Finishing segment strategy for EMEAI
- Develop growth plans aligned with revenue and profitability targets
- Identify new opportunities for powder and liquid technologies across the GF segment
- Create market activation initiatives to enable the sales team to win new business
- Monitor competitive activity and market developments to recommend actions
- Define market positioning, value propositions, and initiative priorities
- Equip Sales with value-selling tools, messaging, and customer value stories
- Translate market insights into activation plans supporting customer acquisition and profitable growth
- Lead regional marketing planning for the General Finishing segment
- Translate right to win into regional programs and Sales activation
- Develop marketing-led programs tied to segment initiatives and goals
- Define and deliver financial commitments, pipeline goals, and program impact
- Track execution, pipeline progress, and program accountability
- Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing,



R&D; and Manufacturing on offerings and innovations
- Simplify product lines and improve profitability and clarity
- Support powder and liquid product portfolio optimization
- Define commercialization strategies for customized solutions
- Contribute to pricing strategies, value propositions and product positioning
- Analyze market trends, customer needs and competitive positioning
- Develop business cases and growth opportunities from market data
- Track and report key segment performance indicators
- Lead voice-of-customer initiatives and engage priority customers to gather insights
- Translate customer input into positioning, messaging, and value-selling content
- Bring a marketing perspective to customer meetings and industry events

Requisiti fondamentali

- Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Chemistry or related discipline
- Experience developing segment strategies, growth plans and value propositions
- Experience in pricing, portfolio strategy, and commercialization planning
- Strong business acumen and commercial mindset
- Strong analytical and data management skills
- Experience in marketing strategy, segment marketing, or commercial strategy
- Experience and knowledge in coatings industry, including powder and/or liquid technologies
- Knowledge of General Industrial or General Finishing applications and markets
- Experience implementing commercial excellence or digital business tools
- Working knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain processes
- Fluent English, Italian or other European languages
- Ability to lead, influence, and inspire cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Travel up to 40%
