Overview

As a Design Evaluation Engineer in the Sustainable Automation team, you will help validate silicon and system-level solutions for industrial applications. You’ll work closely with product development to plan tests, prototype hardware, and analyze measurements, shaping robust products for harsh industrial environments. You’ll collaborate across design, test, and applications to overcome obstacles and drive successful releases, while gaining exposure to multiple technologies and end applications.

Responsabilità

- Collaborate with Product Development to define Design for Test inputs and understand end applications
- Support pre-silicon verification via hardware prototyping and software simulations
- Develop hardware and software measurement systems for characterizing product behavior
- Hands-on debugging of new products to validate functionality
- Identify silicon shortcomings and drive root-cause investigations and timely workarounds
- Conduct bench-top performance measurements and summarize reports of silicon performance




- Cross-correlate bench measurements with ATE data with Test engineers
- Work with Design, Test and Applications Engineers to resolve obstacles for successful releases
- Travel up to 10%
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams developing cutting-edge silicon solutions

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent
- Experience in test board design and layout with solid measurement techniques
- Experience in mixed-signal hardware design, software development, data gathering and analysis
- Soldering skills would be advantageous
- Strong background in mixed-signal electronics
- Strong problem solving and data analysis skills
- Good initiative and motivation in a technical environment
- Strong communication skills and knowledge sharing
- Programming experience: Matlab, Python, C/C++/C#, LabView is a plus
