Overview

In this role you support production, installation, maintenance and repair of electric motors and generators within ABB's Motion Service division in Italy. You perform specialized mechanical assembly tasks and troubleshoot issues to keep equipment operating efficiently. You ensure material availability and maintain equipment to meet production schedules, with occasional on-site work at customer sites. You join a collaborative team and contribute to safe, reliable service delivery and continuous improvement. This position offers hands-on impact and growth within a global technology leader.

Responsabilità

- Execute tasks according to ABB standard processes and safety guidelines
- Troubleshoot and report issues during assembly or testing
- Ensure availability of required materials for workflows

Requisiti fondamentali

- Solid knowledge of electric motors, bearings, and general mechanical principles
- Skilled in using mechanical measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, comparators)
- Basic understanding of mechanical assembly processes
- English communication (spoken and written) as plus
- Availability for occasional travel to customer sites
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a team
- Basic knowledge of insulation principles for electrical machines and electromechanical dynamics
- Office package (xls, word, ppt)
