Overview

As an Engineer 1 in Mechanical Product Design, you contribute to the design and optimization of centrifugal compressors and turboexpanders within our Industrial & Energy Technology team. You will navigate the full engineering lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high performance, reliability, safety, and quality. This role offers hands-on CAD design, BOM management, and manufacturing support in a global, multicultural environment. You will shape products that drive efficiency and innovation in energy technologies.

Responsabilità

- Design the full cycle of centrifugal compressors from concept to drawings and BOM management
- Create and review 3D models using Unigraphics NX and generate compliant machining drawings
- Maintain Bills of Materials and manage documentation within Teamcenter




- Contribute to continuous improvement and Design for Manufacturing/Sourcing initiatives
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards and internal processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across global sites
- Support manufacturing, testing, and site installation activities

Requisiti fondamentali

- Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience with vibration analysis and rotor dynamic analysis for compressors
- Familiarity with static and modal analysis using Ansys Mechanical
- Knowledge of GD&T;, drafting practices and manufacturing technologies
- Proficiency with Unigraphics NX and Teamcenter database
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a global environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
