OverviewYou will manage sourcing and supplier activities for electrical and electronic components, aligning with global purchasing strategies to meet cost, quality, delivery and innovation targets. You’ll interface with engineering, quality and suppliers to drive strategic sourcing and operational execution for the E/E commodity. You’ll lead cost optimization, supplier performance, and readiness for new product introductions in electrified automotive systems. This role offers scope to shape sourcing strategy across regions and programs and to support cross-functional teams in a fast-evolving automotive landscape.

Responsabilità

Define and execute sourcing strategy for Electrical Commodity across regions and programsManage RFQ/RFI processes for electrical/electronic components ensuring competitive sourcingIdentify cost reduction opportunities and drive YoY savings in E/EPerform cost analysis and Total Cost of Ownership evaluationsLead sourcing and supplier selection with engineering, quality and supply chain teamsNegotiate supplier contracts focusing on cost, quality, delivery, payment terms and risk mitigationManage supplier relationships and performance in the electrical commodityMonitor and improve supplier KPIs (quality, delivery, cost, responsiveness)Support new product development programs and ensure sourcing readiness for launch (PPAP, timelines,



capacity)Coordinate cross-functional activities to align technical and commercial requirementsSupport engineering in technical discussions with suppliers for complex componentsEnsure supply chain continuity and mitigate risks related to global constraintsSupport VA/VE and design-to-cost initiativesTrack savings, cost reductions and supplier improvements with accurate reportingDrive process improvements and lean supply chain initiatives

Requisiti fondamentali

University Bachelor Degree in Mechatronic, Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or related field3–5+ years in purchasing, sourcing or supply chain in automotive or industrial sectorsExperience with electrical/electronic components or electrified systems preferredExperience in supplier management and cross-functional collaborationExposure to new product development and industrialization processesStrong negotiation and influencing skillsAnalytical thinking and structured problem-solvingAbility to manage multiple priorities and projectsStrong knowledge of sourcing processes, RFQ management and supplier negotiationUnderstanding of electrical and electronic components (ECU, wiring, sensors, power electronics)Experience with cost analysis and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) evaluation
