A leading medical device company is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive growth across Southern Italy. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused orthopaedic professional to join a high-performing team supporting a market-leading portfolio of hip and knee reconstruction solutions.

Working closely with orthopaedic surgeons, operating theatre teams and hospital stakeholders, you will play a key role in expanding market share while delivering outstanding clinical and commercial support throughout the region.

Responsibilities

- Manage and grow existing accounts across Southern Italy within the hip and knee arthroplasty market.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within public and private hospitals.
- Provide clinical support to surgeons and theatre teams during orthopaedic procedures.
- Deliver product demonstrations, educational programmes and product training sessions.
- Develop strong relationships with orthopaedic surgeons, procurement teams and key hospital decision-makers.




- Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements to drive territory growth.
- Deliver a high level of customer service and strategic account management.
- Collaborate closely with clinical, marketing and leadership teams to achieve regional sales objectives.

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience selling or supporting hip and knee orthopaedic implants.
- Current orthopaedic experience within the last 12 months.
- Strong knowledge of hip and knee arthroplasty, joint reconstruction and orthopaedic surgery.
- Proven track record of developing relationships with surgeons and hospital customers.
- Experience supporting procedures within the operating theatre environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and secure growth opportunities.
- Self-motivated with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout Southern Italy. xrdztoy
