Overview As a Software Engineer at Vertiv, you design, develop, and maintain software that diagnoses and monitors multi-converter power systems. You will collaborate in an international firmware team, producing specs and delivering software deployments at customer sites. * Design, implement and support complex software applications and corresponding documentation
* Create functional, architecture and design specifications
* Install software at customer sites using prototype units
* Provide customer support and issue resolution through site visits




* Collaborate in an international firmware team

* Strong object-oriented design skills
* Experience with QT and QT libraries
* Experience with frontend technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML)
* Basic knowledge of security aspects of embedded software
* Scripting skills (Python, JSON, Bash)
* Excellent knowledge of multithreaded and network programming
* Professional Linux Embedded/Desktop development experience (build, debug, scripting tools)
* Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
* Knowledge of operating systems concepts (processes, memory management, filesystems)
* GNU Make / Makefile expert
* Basic virtualization knowledge (qemu, VM Ware, VirtualBox, Docker)
* Fluent English
