Overview
As Institutional Affairs Specialist, you will help shape Baker Hughes' public policy and government relations in Italy and with EU stakeholders. You work closely with cross-functional teams to advance our interests, monitor political developments, and prepare strategic materials for external engagements. You will build productive relationships with national, regional, and local authorities and contribute to tactics that expand our influence in the energy sector. This role offers a meaningful chance to influence policy, support business growth, and operate across diverse Italian sites. Responsabilità Support advocacy strategy to strengthen Baker Hughes influence with national, regional, and local institutions
Prepare materials, briefings, and coordinate institutional visits and attendance at government affairs events




Liaise with government entities at multiple levels to promote company interests and enable operations
Support business expansion in the industrial sector through government-level relationships and association networks
Monitor and translate legislative and geopolitical developments into actionable impacts and opportunities
Support implementation of the commercial diplomacy strategy to position Baker Hughes in countries of interest
Requisiti fondamentali Bachelor in Law, Economics, International relations or Political sciences
Relevant experience in government, public policy, or government affairs roles
Strong ability to understand and communicate energy policy and policy implications
Fluency in English and Italian
Willingness to travel within Italy and Europe
Strong project management and organizational skills with deadline-driven delivery
