Overview In this role you will lead Haier Europe's tax function, ensuring compliant, scalable tax governance and strategic advisory to the business. You'll coordinate tax compliance, accounting, and audits while partnering with Finance, Legal and HR to align tax strategy with company objectives. You'll drive optimization initiatives and digitalize tax processes to improve efficiency and data-driven decision making. This is a senior, impact-focused role in a multinational setting with cross-functional influence. Retribuzione / Benefits Lavoro da remoto Company car Lead and develop the Tax function, setting priorities and fostering ownership and continuous improvement Oversee direct tax activities including Corporate Income Tax and all tax compliance obligations Coordinate preparation of corporate income tax returns with internal teams and external advisors Oversee tax accounting activities: provisions, deferred taxes, and reconciliation with statutory reporting Act as primary contact for tax matters across Finance, Legal,



and HR manage audits and inquiries Drive tax planning and optimization initiatives within regulatory and risk framework Support senior management with tax analysis on strategic projects and organizational changes Drive continuous improvement and digitalization of tax processes and data usage Ensure effective tax reporting and communication to management and stakeholders University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Law or related field Professional tax qualification considered a strong plus At least 10 years in taxation in multinational or Big Four/professional services with leadership experience Fluent Italian and English; Chinese a plus Strong knowledge of Italian direct taxation (IRES, IRAP) and Italian GAAP (OIC) and IFRS Understanding of tax accounting: current and deferred taxes; Experience with tax audits, tax governance, and relationships with authorities Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) Experience with tax technology, process digitalization and automation a plus Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills Strategic, business-oriented mindset; ability to translate tax into business implications Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced international environment Integrity, accountability and professional judgment Change management mindset and continuous improvement Languages: Italian and English fluency; Chinese a plus Leadership and people management Stakeholder management and communication Strategic thinking and business orientation Italian direct taxation (IRES, IRAP) Italian GAAP (OIC) and IFRS Tax accounting (current and deferred taxes)
