Overview

Experienced FX Derivatives Trader at a senior level to join our Milan team. You will price, market-make, and manage risk across FX Options for G10 and/or Emerging Markets, contributing to the franchise's growth and performance. You will collaborate with Sales, structure new products, and continuously enhance pricing models and tools. This role offers exposure to global markets, cross-team collaboration, and a path to influence the FX derivatives offering. You will operate in a dynamic environment with autonomy and high-impact decisions.

Responsabilità

- Pricing, trading and market making across FX Options for G10 and/or Emerging Markets
- Managing market risk from market-making and client-driven activity
- Managing positions across plain-vanilla and exotic options
- Providing competitive pricing and liquidity while optimizing risk/reward
- Identifying and executing trading and hedging strategies based on market conditions and portfolio exposures
- Working with Sales to support client activity through pricing, market views and tailored FX derivative solutions
- Contributing to origination, assessment and structuring of new products and client solutions
- Developing the FX Derivatives franchise through new business initiatives and improvements to offerings




- Collaborating with other Trading teams and international hubs to optimize risk management and market coverage
- Enhancing pricing models, trading tools, analytics and risk-management processes

Requisiti fondamentali

- At least 10 years of experience in FX Derivatives trading within a bank or equivalent institution
- Proven experience in FX Options market making and risk management with direct responsibility for trading positions
- Strong experience across G10 and/or Emerging Markets currencies
- Solid experience in pricing and risk management of plain-vanilla FX Options; exotic products valuable
- Ability to manage volatility and Greeks-based risk and hedge option portfolios dynamically
- Experience within defined market and counterparty risk frameworks and trading limits
- Familiarity with front-office trading, pricing and position-management systems
- Autonomy in trading and risk decisions in changing market conditions
- Degree in Economics or STEM disciplines
- Strong knowledge of FX markets, products, market structure and trading conventions
- Deep understanding of derivatives pricing and risk management, particularly FX Options
- Commercial awareness to contribute to FX franchise development
- Fluency in English
- Strong proficiency with front-office trading and analytical tools
- Knowledge of Python, VBA or other programming/quantitative tools advantageous
